ICAR-KVK Namsai successfully organised one day programme on “Scientist’s Farmer’s interaction programme” at KVK office premises funded FTC, Kherem, Namsai District, Arunachal Pradesh. A total of 70 participants including PD ATMA, KVK Scientists and Farmers/FW were present in the said programme from different villages of namsai district viz., Momomg, Mengkang khamti, Alubari, Napatia, Juna kachari and Tengapani
        The Senior Scientist and Head, KVK Namsai, Uptal Barua highlighted the importance of the programme. The Chief guest of the programme PD, ATMA, Thingman Thingnok urges the farmers of Namsai district to interact with the scientist to discuss the problem diagnosis in the field.
        Dr. Madhumita Sonowal Bora, SMS(Plant Protection), KVK Namsai discussed different insect pest and disease problem arises in the farmer field related to agriculture and horticulture crops and discussed about impact studies of mushroom cultivation in namsai district by Ms. Sharvani Shani, SMS(Agri. Extension), KVK Namsai.
        Lastly, seeds of vegetables crop like tomato, chilli, brinjal, french bean, dolichos bean and amaranthus from IIHR, Bangalore were distributed among the farmers.
